Dr. Juan is an orthodontist. Orthodontists are dentists first. Out of 100 dental school graduates, on average, only six become orthodontists.
To practice orthodontics, Dr. Juan spent 11 years in training—that’s four years of college, four years of dental school, and three years of orthodontics residency.
As an orthodontic student, he spent three years learning the skills needed to manage tooth movement and guide facial development.
His education didn’t stop there—Dr. Juan continues taking courses to stay on top of the latest advancements in the field of orthodontics.
